3G ACTIVATION PROCEDURE FOR ALL MOBILE OPERATORS IN INDIA


3G activation
3G services is almost ready in all telecom circles in India.For having 3G advantages, you must have 3G enabled handsest, and 3G sim. In every telecom circle there is 3 Private 3G operators and one BSNL 3G service is available.


You can change your 2G sim into 3G as well, you don't need to change your number. You have to send only one sms, and your 3G services will be activated
Here is the procedure to convert your 2G mobile number into 3G


Activation procedure for Airtel 3G:


Send SMS- START 3G to 121
you will receive intimated msg


Activation procedure for Idea 3G:


send SMS - ACT3G to 12345
you will receive intimated msg


Activation procedure for Tata docomo 3G:


Send SMS - 3GLIFE to 53333
you will receive a link, click on that link and your 3G services will be activated


Activation procedure for Aircel 3G:


Send SMS - START 3G to 121
you will receive intimated msg


Activation procedure for Vodafone 3G:


Send SMS - ACT 3G to 144
you will receive intimated msg.


Activation procedure for Reliance 3G


To activate reliance 3G you can contact to customer care or fill a form here
Or try
Send SMS - START 3G to 53739


 Activation procedure for Bsnl 3G


Send SMS - HELP MIG to 52244
you will receive a sms, select option migration to 3G

    HI.. thanks a lot for the post.

    I converted my Vodafone 2G to 3G, and immediately got reply-- "Requested services will be activated in 24 hours"

    Next day, i changed the operator settings on my Nokia C7 from GSM to 3G, its catching 3G frequency.

    Really a good and informative post.
    Would like to suggest, if you can also provide the 3G Deactivation process by the side.

    Im using VODAFONE and i've send "ACT 3G" and also 3G to 111 and 144 aswell several time..both the two process.. but ITS NOT WORKING at all..
    Instead,
    I alwaya got this reply ->
    "Hello! You have entered the wrong keyword. Please enter the desired keyword and SMS to 144. You can also dial *111# to access your account."
