Reliance digital Tv is earlier known as Reliance Big Tv, started DTH service in India in 2008, with a slogan " TV ho tou Big Ho ". At the time of launching Reliance succeeded to gain lots of customer, due to its attractive offers, as Reliance always do.
If we talk about its service quality, Reliance Digital Tv is offering awesome Picture and audio quality, we can say best in all Dth. Reliance using latest MPEG 4 DVB-S2 Technology , which allow Reliance to add more channels in less transponder space.
Reliance currently offers 250 channels, Good thing about Reliance is it offers you lots of pay per view cinema channels. So you have lots of option to watch your favorite movies on pay per view basis.
presently they don't have good amount of HD channels, But they have lots of transponder space to add HD channels, so we can hope they can add sufficient number of HD channels in future, atleast all sports HD. Review of all other DTH operators

Reliance Digital Tv has 12 transponders and it is transmitting its service using MESAT - 3 at 91.5 East. Reliance is using MPEG 4 DVB-S2 Digital compression Technology, so it can add 35 to 40 channels per transponder. So they have enough space to add more SD (standard Definition) and HD (High definition) channels.
